Hydrogen Train – Route to Market Strategy

IPEX was retained by a UK transport authority to develop a route-to-market strategy for replacing diesel trains with hydrogen trains across key route corridors of the UK network. IPEX developed a strategy that detailed the process, challenges, costs and requirements for transition from diesel to hydrogen traction, including consideration for the rolling stock, infrastructure, and integration with a wider hydrogen supply chain.
